Q. What does Solid PDF Tools do if the PDF file is password-protected?

A. In order to convert the PDF file to a Word document, you must have the password. If you are being prompted to enter a password while converting, the creator of the file has restricted printing, copying, and/or editing of the PDF by using security settings. We honor all security settings in PDF files in accordance with our license agreement with Adobe.
