Solid Documents Releases Solid Converter® PDF Version 7

With dozens of enhancements to Version 7 making document construction even easier,
PDF users now have a seamless way to improve, create and convert files

Redmond, WA—December 14, 2010—Solid Documents, a leading developer of document reconstruction and archiving software, today announced the release of version 7 of Solid Converter PDF. Solid Converter PDF helps you improve, create and convert PDFs into Word and Excel as well as other file formats, resulting in accurate, high quality documents that are easy to reuse. Solid Documents has packed dozens of enhancements into the new product, including workflow improvements, document management best practices, and editing and publishing improvements.

“Today’s professionals are tasked with increasing responsibility during the workday,” said Michael Cartwright, founder of Solid Documents. “With Solid Converter PDF v7, workers can create and convert files more quickly and easily—saving time that would otherwise be spent on document reconstruction. Instead of wasting precious time retyping and reformatting documents, workers can move on to the next project.”

While PDF is a universal standard for creating readable documents that maintain integrity, PDFs are not easily converted or edited. With the release of the new version of Solid Converter PDF, it is now easier to create, edit and convert PDF content into high quality documents that are easy to reuse. Enhanced features include the ability to: convert PDF files into .docx, .xlsx or .pptx formats without requiring Microsoft® Office®, table improvements, recover text markup, and extract data from PDF files to .CSV files. It includes 256 AES encryption, selective conversion and more. Solid Converter PDF v7 also includes many updates and improvements to its world class reconstruction and conversion technology.
